Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures using advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements and enhance equipment reliability.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and document maintenance activities in compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct calibration and alignment of precision tools and machinery to maintain manufacturing accuracy.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns with urgency, minimizing production downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a hazard-free working environment in the fab.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Equipment Technician in a semiconductor or wafer fabrication environment.
- Hands-on experience with CVD, PVD, Etch, or Lithography equipment is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic software, oscilloscopes, and multimeters for equipment troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CMOS, MEMS, or analog semiconductor processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules and adapt to a dynamic production environment.
