Responsibility
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation, in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges and optimize project outcomes.
- Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and financial summaries, to senior management.
- Implement sustainable and cost-effective engineering solutions to enhance project efficiency and durability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure team success and professional development.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PE) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record in project management.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts with precision.
