Are you a detail-oriented professional passionate about public service and regional development? The Provincial Government of Siquijor is seeking a dedicated Project Development Assistant to join our team in the Bicol Region. As a Project Development Assistant, you will work closely with department heads and project managers to ensure that all development initiatives are aligned with provincial goals and government standards. You will play a key role in documentation, data analysis, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless implementation of project workflows. Responsibility

  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, feasibility studies, and comprehensive work plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress against established timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators.
  • Conduct field visits and on-site assessments to gather data and verify project milestones.
  • Draft, edit, and organize official project documentation, reports, and administrative correspondence.
  • Facilitate coordination meetings between local stakeholders, government agencies, and contractors.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of project records and historical performance metrics.
  • Provide technical support to project leads during budget preparation and resource allocation processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or administrative support, preferably within a government or public sector setting.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in creating reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Filipino.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes and local project development protocols is a significant advantage.
