Responsibility
- Serve as the primary Owner’s Representative on construction projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project specifications.
- Oversee and coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers to maintain project quality, safety, and compliance.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections and technical reviews to verify adherence to design plans, codes, and industry standards.
- Resolve on-site challenges and disputes, acting as a mediator between the owner and construction teams.
- Review and approve change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and submittals in collaboration with the project team.
- Ensure all permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements are secured and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate delays, cost overruns, and quality issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years in an Owner’s Representative or client-side role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, and project scheduling (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and government agencies.
- Familiarity with Bali’s construction regulations and international building codes (e.g., IBC, SNI) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software for design review and coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a problem-solving and detail-oriented approach.
