Responsibility
- Deploy, configure, and manage Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) platforms (e.g., VMware vSAN, Nutanix, Dell VxRail).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to improve efficiency.
- Conduct capacity planning and resource optimization for virtualized environments.
- Provide technical support and documentation for HCI deployments.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical infrastructure support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in HCI, virtualization, or cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Nutanix, or similar HCI platforms.
- Strong knowledge of storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Certifications such as VCIX, Nutanix NCP, or MCSE are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
