As a Programme Lead, you will collaborate with local and international partners to design and implement education programmes tailored to the needs of Orang Asli communities. Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic education programmes for Orang Asli communities, aligning with organisational goals and community needs.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local authorities, NGOs, and community leaders to ensure programme success.
- Oversee field operations, including team coordination, resource allocation, and logistical planning.
- Monitor and evaluate programme impact, using data-driven insights to refine and improve initiatives.
- Advocate for the educational rights and needs of Orang Asli communities at local and national levels.
- Train and mentor field staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality programme delivery.
- Secure funding and manage budgets to sustain and expand education programmes.
- Report on programme progress and outcomes to stakeholders and donors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in programme management, preferably in education or community development.
- Proven track record of working with indigenous or marginalised communities.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Malay.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and advocacy.
- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for social programmes.
