Responsibility
- Perform high-quality welding tasks using various processes (MIG, TIG, ARC) according to blueprints and technical specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and welding symbols accurately.
- Inspect completed welds for structural integrity, conformity to dimensions, and surface finish requirements.
- Operate grinding equipment and power tools to prepare metal surfaces for welding.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all workplace safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with assembly teams to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
- Maintain welding equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a professional Welder in an industrial or construction setting.
- Relevant certification or trade qualification in Welding (e.g., AWS, Coded Welder certification).
- Solid knowledge of metal properties, weldability, and heat treatment techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for standing and manual labor.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and the ability to work independently or within a team.
- A valid driver’s license and reliability in commuting to the West Region.
