Responsibility
- Provide attentive, personalized service to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve dishes and drinks with professionalism, adhering to presentation and timing standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, including tables, menus, and service areas.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours and special events.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and service protocols to uphold the restaurant’s high standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (preferably in fine dining or high-volume restaurants).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong work ethic, adaptability, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order-taking procedures.
- Impeccable grooming and a professional appearance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
- Basic knowledge of wine, cocktails, and food pairings is advantageous.
