Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with professionalism and courtesy.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, adhering to hotel standards for presentation and timing.
- Provide attentive and personalized service, anticipating guest needs and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, replenishing supplies, and clearing used dishes.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with diplomacy, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and revenue.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waitress/Waiter in a hotel, restaurant, or fine dining establishment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings, as well as menu descriptions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order-taking procedures is advantageous.
