Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring attention to detail for dietary restrictions or special requests.
- Deliver orders promptly and efficiently, maintaining high standards of service throughout the dining experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, address any concerns, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including setting up and resetting tables according to establishment standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of orders.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and provide receipts to guests.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail pairings.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training or certification is an advantage.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift and carry trays.
