Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a seamless and welcoming arrival.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relaying them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages with precision, adhering to resort standards for presentation and timing.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, replenishing supplies, and ensuring a polished appearance.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash/credit transactions with integrity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-end restaurant, resort, or hotel (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including wine and cocktail pairings.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and a positive attitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards in line with resort policies.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and order management software is advantageous.
