Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with professionalism.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, adhering to presentation and service standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints with tact and efficiency.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table settings and service stations.
- Process payments accurately and provide guests with itemized receipts.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and revenue.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or resort (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order-taking procedures.
- Impeccable grooming and adherence to uniform standards.
- Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings, wine service, or local cuisine is advantageous.
