Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with professionalism and courtesy.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and beverages with attention to presentation, timing, and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, replenishing supplies, and clearing used dishes promptly.
- Provide personalized recommendations on menu items, beverages, and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle billing and payments accurately, including processing cash, credit, or mobile transactions.
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and escalate to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and minimize wait times.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality setting (preferably in upscale or international environments).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to engage guests.
- Impeccable grooming and a professional appearance, adhering to uniform standards.
- Strong work ethic, discipline, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine or cocktail pairings (training provided).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and guest satisfaction.
