Responsibility
- Provide attentive, courteous service to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Serve meals and drinks with precision and presentation, adhering to establishment standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and dining area, including table settings, glassware, and utensils.
- Handle payments and process transactions efficiently using POS systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (preferred but not required; training provided).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including wine and cocktail pairings.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is an advantage.
