Responsibility
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to guests in our fine dining restaurant, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience.
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing recommendations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and efficient service, maintaining open communication to address guest needs promptly.
- Upsell and promote special dishes, beverages, and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy, ensuring resolution aligns with our commitment to excellence.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas, including table arrangements, utensils, and decor, to meet our high standards of presentation.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and team briefings to stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and service protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a waiter or server in a fine dining, luxury resort, or high-end restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including wine and cocktail pairing.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by the resort's operations.
- Basic understanding of sustainable practices and a commitment to supporting our resort's eco-friendly initiatives.
- Certification in food safety or hospitality (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe) is an advantage.
