Responsibility
- Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, making personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure presentation meets The Island Sports Club’s high standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Uphold the brand’s values of hospitality, teamwork, and excellence in every interaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, hotel, or resort (preferred but not required; training provided).
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail pairings (training available).
- A positive attitude, team-player mentality, and passion for hospitality.
- Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods.
