Responsibility
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and special promotions.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain stock.
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed.
- Adapt to changing menu requirements and guest preferences with flexibility and creativity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant, hotel, or resort setting.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
