Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, making personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, adhering to presentation and quality standards.
- Monitor guest needs and respond to requests or concerns with efficiency and tact.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and timely order delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash/credit transactions with integrity.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and revenue.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or resort (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Polite, friendly, and approachable personality with a natural ability to engage with diverse customers.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new menus, service standards, and guest expectations.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
