Responsibility
- Provide exceptional, personalized service to guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience.
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and wine pairings to make expert recommendations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Set up, clean, and maintain dining areas, including tables, linens, glassware, and utensils, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and discretion.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Uphold brand standards for presentation, etiquette, and guest interaction at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in fine dining, hotels, or upscale restaurants (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and service protocols.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and outstanding customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, or beverages (up to 20 lbs).
- Basic math skills for order calculations and payment processing.
