Responsibility
- Provide attentive, personalized service to guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience.
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and wine pairings to make informed recommendations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Set up and maintain dining areas, including table settings, cleanliness, and ambiance.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fine dining, hotel, or upscale restaurant setting (fresh graduates with a passion for hospitality are encouraged to apply).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a guest-first mindset.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including wine service and table etiquette.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods while carrying trays or other items.
- Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software is an advantage.
