Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to presentation standards and guest expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned sections, including table settings, condiments, and service stations.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests professionally, resolving any issues with a solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of orders.
- Process payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments, while providing itemized receipts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or resort is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor and a passion for customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail pairings.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order management software.
