Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with a professional demeanor.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and make personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests or dietary restrictions are communicated clearly to the kitchen.
- Serve dishes and beverages promptly, adhering to Pondok Pengkang’s high standards of presentation and timing.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns proactively, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table settings, condiments, and service stations.
- Process payments efficiently using POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions with accuracy.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting (fresh graduates with a passion for service are welcome to apply).
- Fluent in English and Indonesian; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage guests of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette, wine service, or local cuisine is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s schedule.

- Basic math skills for handling bills and tips accurately.
