Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with professionalism.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage pairings.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets establishment standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any concerns with solutions.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and digital transactions, and issue receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table settings and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter in a restaurant, hotel, or resort setting.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of wine, cocktails, and local cuisine is highly valued.
- Neat appearance, professional demeanor, and excellent personal hygiene.
- Familiarity with POS systems and digital ordering tools.
- Legal work authorization in Indonesia; willingness to relocate within Bali if required.
