Responsibility
- Operate and maintain company trucks in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, fuel consumption, and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to vehicle maintenance and reporting.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional truck driver, preferably in logistics or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as required.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Familiarity with GPS systems and route planning software is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing as part of the hiring process.
