In this role, you will play a pivotal part in coordinating complex logistics operations, including project cargo, trucking, and multi-modal transport. Responsibility
- Coordinate and process all import/export shipments, including air, sea, and land freight, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Manage end-to-end logistics for project cargo, including oversized or specialized shipments, from planning to final delivery.
- Liaise with customs brokers, carriers, and clients to resolve documentation issues, delays, or discrepancies promptly.
- Optimize routing and transportation modes to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines for clients.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists) with 100% accuracy.
- Monitor shipment statuses in real-time, providing proactive updates to stakeholders and addressing any operational bottlenecks.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with vendors, carriers, and service providers to secure competitive pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, expenses, and communications in the company’s logistics management system.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong knowledge of incoterms, customs clearance procedures, and Indonesian/SEA trade regulations.
- Proficient in using logistics software (e.g., ERP, TMS, or freight management systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa) are a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; certifications (e.g., FIATA, CSCP) are advantageous.
- Familiarity with Bali’s logistics infrastructure and regional trade routes is highly desirable.
