Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and corporate clients to drive business growth.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the shipping and logistics sector, focusing on the Southeast Asian market.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present tailored logistics solutions, including air, sea, and land freight options, to meet client needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic sales decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery and client retention.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales within the shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and logistics management tools.
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
