Responsibility
- Operate and drive company trucks safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to maintain a clean driving record.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, fuel consumption, and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear as required.
Qualifications
- Valid professional driver’s license (CDL or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in logistics or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.
