Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage airfreight shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to secure optimal routing and pricing.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Monitor shipment statuses and proactively resolve any delays or issues to maintain client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and delivery performance using logistics software.
- Ensure compliance with international aviation and customs regulations, including IATA and local authorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and providing real-time updates on shipment statuses.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in airfreight logistics, freight forwarding, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of airfreight operations, including cargo handling, routing, and documentation.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, KN FreightNet) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and IATA standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
