Responsibility
- Safely operate and maneuver lorries and heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) in compliance with traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying shipment details against delivery documents to prevent errors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, including driving hours, fuel consumption, and mileage as per regulatory requirements.
- Follow designated routes and delivery schedules, communicating any delays or deviations to the dispatch team promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and secure cargo handling.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Aureumaex Industries professionally at all times.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance, such as checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and cleaning the cabin and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Indonesian commercial driver’s license (SIM C or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 3 years of experience driving lorries or heavy goods vehicles (HGVs).
- Familiarity with Bali’s road networks, traffic regulations, and local delivery routes is a plus.
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety protocols, including defensive driving techniques and emergency procedures.
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and endure long hours of driving.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle checks and troubleshooting.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Good communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia to interact with clients and team members.
