Responsibility
- Translate technical, legal, and business documents from English to Indonesian and vice versa with high accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to industry terminology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to localize content for internal and external communications.
- Maintain a glossary of specialized terms and ensure consistency across all translations.
- Assist in interpreting during meetings, conferences, or virtual calls when required.
- Research and verify technical or industry-specific terminology to ensure precision.
- Manage translation projects, including deadlines and prioritization of tasks.
- Provide feedback on source content to improve clarity and translatability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, English Literature, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional translation experience, preferably in technical, legal, or business contexts.
- Fluent in both English and Indonesian (written and verbal) with a deep understanding of cultural nuances.
- Proven ability to translate complex documents while maintaining original meaning, tone, and style.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering error-free work.
- Familiarity with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional certification in translation (e.g., Sworn Translator) is highly advantageous.
