Responsibility
- Translate written and spoken content between Mandarin, Indonesian, and English with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Edit and proofread translated materials to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to localize marketing, legal, and technical documents for target audiences.
- Provide real-time interpretation support for meetings, calls, and negotiations as needed.
- Maintain and update translation glossaries and style guides to ensure terminology consistency.
- Research industry-specific terminology to ensure translations are contextually appropriate.
- Assist in developing multilingual content strategies to enhance brand communication.
- Ensure confidentiality and data security for all sensitive translation projects.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin (native or near-native) and Indonesian, with excellent English proficiency.
- Bachelorâs degree in Translation, Linguistics, Literature, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (2+ years) in translation, interpretation, or localization roles.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions in Mandarin and Indonesian.
- Proficiency in CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
