Responsibility
- Interpret and execute garment construction based on technical packs, patterns, and design specifications.
- Operate industrial sewing machines, overlock machines, and other tailoring equipment with precision.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet brand standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with designers and production teams to refine prototypes and samples.
- Cut, stitch, and finish fabrics according to measurements and style requirements.
- Maintain and organize sewing tools, threads, and materials to ensure efficiency in the workspace.
- Repair or alter garments as needed to achieve perfect fit and finish.
- Adhere to production timelines and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a tailor, preferably in a high-end fashion or atelier environment.
- Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines, overlockers, and other tailoring equipment.
- Strong understanding of fabric types, garment construction, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical packs, patterns, and design sketches accurately.
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering flawless craftsmanship.
- Excellent hand-sewing skills for fine detailing and adjustments.
- Time management skills to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
