Responsibility
- Lead the product development process for garment lines, from concept to final production, ensuring alignment with brand standards and market trends.
- Conduct data-driven analysis of fast-moving and slow-moving products to optimize inventory, reduce waste, and improve profitability.
- Collaborate with design, sourcing, and production teams to develop high-quality, cost-effective garment solutions.
- Oversee sample development and prototyping, ensuring products meet technical specifications, quality benchmarks, and aesthetic requirements.
- Monitor production timelines and budgets, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to maintain efficiency.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to recommend innovative product improvements or new line introductions.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align product development with customer demands and promotional strategies.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability and ethical sourcing standards in all product development activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in garment product development, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record in analyzing product performance (fast/slow-moving items) and implementing data-driven improvements.
- Strong knowledge of fabric, trims, and garment construction, with the ability to assess quality and functionality.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CAD software, or PLM systems (e.g., Gerber, Lectra) is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus for international collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
