Responsibility
- Perform on-site assessments to determine the feasibility of solar panel installations.
- Install, maintain, and repair solar panel systems on rooftops and other structures.
- Ensure all installations comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise during or after installation.
- Educate clients on the operation and maintenance of their solar panel systems.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service reports, and inventory of materials.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Solar Panel Installer or in a similar role within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of solar panel systems, electrical wiring, and mounting structures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in various weather conditions, and lift heavy equipment.
- Valid certification in solar panel installation (e.g., from a recognized training program) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools (e.g., multimeters, drills, wrenches).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in English to interact with clients and team members.
