Responsibility
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to monitor and secure premises, ensuring a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to detect and prevent suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to access control, visitor management, and asset protection.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure safety.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities, including any security-related occurrences.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to address security threats or incidents.
- Inspect and maintain security equipment, such as alarms, locks, and barriers, to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries or concerns related to security.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security (e.g., SATPOL PP, private security license) is a plus.
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field, with at least 1-2 years in a similar role preferred.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
- Excellent observational skills and the ability to assess situations quickly and accurately.
- Professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with security protocols, emergency procedures, and the use of surveillance equipment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is advantageous.
