Responsibility
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, unauthorized activities, or security breaches.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises, including entry/exit points, to ensure all security measures are in place and functional.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and access control procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities for management review.
- Operate security equipment such as CCTV systems, metal detectors, and communication devices effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries and directions.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to ensure a coordinated response to incidents.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with diverse groups.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long durations, including in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of basic security protocols, emergency procedures, and first aid/CPR (certification preferred).
- Integrity, reliability, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards in all situations.
- Familiarity with security systems and equipment is advantageous.
