Responsibility
- Monitor Pool Safety: Continuously observe pool areas to prevent accidents, enforce safety rules, and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Enforce Regulations: Ensure all guests adhere to pool policies, including no running, diving in shallow areas, and proper use of flotation devices.
- Perform Rescue Operations: Execute water rescues, administer first aid, and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
- Conduct Safety Inspections: Regularly check pool equipment, water quality, and surrounding areas to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Provide Guest Assistance: Offer friendly and professional assistance to guests, including answering questions, providing safety instructions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain Records: Document incidents, safety checks, and guest interactions in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with hotel/resort teams, including housekeeping, maintenance, and management, to ensure seamless operations.
- Promote Safety Awareness: Educate guests on pool safety guidelines and best practices to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Lifeguard Certification (e.g., Red Cross, RLSS, or equivalent) and First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of lifeguarding experience in pools, resorts, or hospitality settings.
- Physical Fitness: Strong swimming skills, endurance, and the ability to perform rescues in various water conditions.
- Vigilance & Alertness: Keen observation skills and the ability to remain focused during long shifts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, Russian) are a plus.
- Customer Service: Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with a passion for guest satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to assess risks, make quick decisions, and handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Legal Eligibility: Work permit or eligibility to work in Indonesia (for foreign applicants).
