Responsibility
- Safely operate and drive lorries to transport and deliver materials, parts, or finished goods to designated locations.
- Maintain regular radio or telephone communication with the dispatch team or supervisor for route updates and instructions.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper distribution of weight and adherence to loading protocols.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and local regulations to ensure safe and legal operations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, fuel consumption, and delivery records as required by company and regulatory standards.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays immediately to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including professional interaction with clients and warehouse staff.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a lorry or truck driver, preferably in logistics or manufacturing sectors.
- Familiarity with Bali’s roads, traffic regulations, and delivery routes is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle safety protocols, maintenance checks, and emergency procedures.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) as part of loading/unloading duties.
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.
- High level of responsibility, punctuality, and commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.
