Responsibility
- Operate and drive heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to transport poultry products, materials, and equipment between suppliers, warehouses, and customers in Bali.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time, adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the lorry is in optimal working condition, reporting any mechanical issues or defects immediately.
- Load and unload goods securely, following proper handling procedures to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including trip logs, delivery receipts, and fuel consumption reports.
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself, the cargo, and other road users.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Assist in the maintenance of the vehicle, including basic cleaning, refueling, and minor repairs, to ensure it remains in good working order.
Qualifications
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license with a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) or SIM B2 endorsement (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving HGVs or commercial vehicles, preferably in logistics, transportation, or a related industry.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.
- Strong knowledge of Bali’s road networks, including Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung.
- Ability to read and understand delivery schedules, maps, and GPS navigation systems.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Good physical health and stamina to handle loading/unloading of goods and long driving hours.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and customers.
