Responsibility
- Prepare and cook ingredients according to standardized recipes and special orders
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and plating dishes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures to minimize waste
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations as per local and company policies
- Support in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary environment (entry-level candidates with passion are encouraged to apply)
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with Indonesian cuisine or international culinary styles is a plus
- Certification in food safety or hygiene (e.g., HACCP) is advantageous
