Responsibility
- Provide accurate and professional simultaneous and consecutive interpretation between Japanese and Indonesian/English during meetings, conferences, and negotiations.
- Translate written documents, including business correspondence, technical manuals, and administrative reports, ensuring cultural and contextual accuracy.
- Assist in cross-cultural communication to foster understanding and collaboration between Japanese and local teams.
- Prepare and review meeting agendas, minutes, and presentations in both languages to support executive and operational discussions.
- Serve as a cultural liaison, advising on business etiquette, customs, and best practices to enhance professional relationships.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive business information and discussions.
- Support training sessions and workshops by providing language assistance to non-native speakers.
- Continuously update knowledge of industry-specific terminology in manufacturing, administration, and corporate sectors.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese (N2 or higher) and Indonesian, with strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of Japanese and Indonesian business culture and professional etiquette.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced, multicultural settings.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
