Responsibility

  • Greet and welcome guests with a professional, friendly, and warm demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists efficiently to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely table turnover and smooth operations.
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with diplomacy and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area, including menus, promotional materials, and seating charts.
  • Assist in training new staff members on hospitality standards and customer service best practices.
  • Uphold brand standards in appearance, communication, and service delivery at all times.
  • Support event setup and breakdown for private functions or special promotions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a hostess, front-of-house, or customer service role (hospitality industry preferred).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage with diverse guests.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage high-volume periods with ease.
  • Professional appearance and attention to detail in grooming and uniform standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems or reservation software is advantageous.
