As a key member of our team, you will provide on-site interpretation and high-quality translation of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration between English and Chinese-speaking stakeholders. Responsibility
- Provide on-site English-to-Chinese and Chinese-to-English interpretation for meetings, workshops, and technical discussions.
- Translate Operations & Maintenance (O&M) documentation, including manuals, reports, and technical specifications, with precision and clarity.
- Ensure cultural and contextual accuracy in all translations to maintain the integrity of the original content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify terminology, ensuring consistency across all project materials.
- Review and edit translated content for grammar, syntax, and technical accuracy before final delivery.
- Assist in the localization of technical content to adapt it for target audiences in different regions.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive project information.
- Stay updated with industry-specific terminology and best practices in translation and interpretation.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal) with a deep understanding of both cultures.
- Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably in the ICT, engineering, or technical fields.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with technical terminology related to data centers, IT infrastructure, or O&M documentation is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ) or other translation software is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Bali, Indonesia, with flexibility for occasional travel if required.
