Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Ensure data lineage, cataloging, and metadata management for compliance and governance.
- Validate and optimize data models for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
- Support data governance initiatives, including data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Document data architectures, workflows, and standards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on best practices in data modeling.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling, database design, or data architecture.
- Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner).
- Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and metadata management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP, TOGAF) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid setting.
