Responsibility
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, including times, locations, and any incidents.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to load and unload goods securely.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the security of goods.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or recipients of goods.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a professional driver, preferably in logistics or transportation.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as part of loading and unloading duties.
