Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor the movement of cargo, ensuring timely and accurate shipments from origin to destination.
- Liaise with warehouse teams, freight forwarders, and customs agents to streamline logistics processes.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Track shipments in real-time and provide updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Resolve any discrepancies or delays in cargo movement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all cargo transactions, including inventory levels and shipment statuses.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure client requirements are met.
- Adhere to safety and compliance standards in all cargo handling and transportation activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cargo coordination, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, and documentation.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., ERP systems, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving logistical challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Familiarity with Baliâs logistics landscape and local regulations is an advantage.
