Responsibility
- Safely operate company vehicles or motorcycles to deliver parcels to residential and commercial locations.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery and maximize productivity throughout the shift.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including digital proof-of-delivery (POD) and customer signatures.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and the operations team regarding any delivery issues or delays.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring all shipments arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and site-specific operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Malaysian driver’s license (Class B2 for riders, D for drivers).
- Proven experience in courier services, logistics, or delivery roles is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Bayan Lepas, Penang, and surrounding areas.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced, independent environment.
- Ability to read and follow GPS navigation systems and delivery manifests.
- Basic smartphone literacy for using delivery tracking applications.
- Clean driving record and a strong commitment to road safety.
