Responsibility
- Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions to address clients' emotional and psychological needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic client care.
- Facilitate workshops and educational sessions on mental health awareness and coping strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Adhere to professional ethics and legal guidelines in all counselling practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Certification or licensure as a counsellor (e.g., LPC, LMHC, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in providing counselling services, preferably in a clinical or community setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of various counselling techniques and therapeutic approaches.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a part-time capacity.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on best practices.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
