Responsibility
- Prepare and cook Pepper Lunch’s signature dishes according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food items are fresh, properly stored, and meet hygiene and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management to minimize waste.
- Follow food preparation and plating guidelines to ensure consistency and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols, including HACCP standards.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff and sharing best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Cook, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or Japanese cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic English communication skills (preferred but not mandatory).
- Passion for culinary arts and continuous learning.
