Responsibility
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and special dietary requirements.
- Ensure all food items are stored, handled, and prepared in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow during peak service hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to avoid shortages.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Adapt to menu changes and customer preferences while ensuring consistent quality.
- Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff when necessary.
- Work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, to meet operational demands.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or resort setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and efficiency.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 20-25 kg).
- Willingness to work 6 days a week, including public holidays and overtime as needed.
- Familiarity with international cuisines is a plus.
